Youth To The People

Last year, Greg (founder of Youth To The People) and I got to talking and realized how similar our creative process is. Although one could say we are in completely different fields, (skincare/wellness ~ visual art) we share a deep-rooted belief in minimizing our eco-footprint. This was one of my favorite parts of working with Youth To The People, and through exposure and collaboration, I was able to weave some of YTTP’s green practices into my art foundation and routine. Our collaboration stems from this ideology, and we created a series of objects (30 one-of-a-kind table lamps) made with 90% post-consumer recycled materials. Conceptually, we worked within the context of 3 quotes that align with YTTP’s core values; Everything Is Energy (Green), I Found Myself In A Dream (yellow), and Unity Is The Solution (Orange). It has taken me a long time to craft (and share) a body of work that I stand by both ethically and visually, and I hope you enjoy what we came up with.
